University of Florida College of Medicine, Jacksonville to Open New Practice at OakLeaf Plantation

March 1st, 2007 — OakLeaf Plantation will soon be home to area's newest medical practice, OakLeaf Plantation Pediatric and Family Medicine Center. Developed by Jacksonville-based, The Hutson Companies, OakLeaf Plantation is a 6,400-acre, master planned community situated on the border of Clay and Duval counties, and has become one of the fastest-growing, fastest-selling developments in the state of Florida.

OakLeaf Plantation Pediatric and Family Medicine Center will be located in the Plantation Oaks Village Center, one of two retail village centers in the community. The facility, leased through an agreement with Castlerock Realty, is planned for 5,500 square feet, wherein full-service pediatric and family care services will be provided. The OakLeaf Plantation Pediatric and Family Medicine Center will also feature a drawing station within the facility where patients can have all lab work required by the physician completed onsite.

Dr. Bala Munipalli will serve as the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The OakLeaf Plantation Pediatric and Family Medicine Center for the University of Florida, College of Medicine, Jacksonville. Dr. Munipalli is board certified in the pediatric and internal medicine specialties. Dr. Munipalli is currently a provider with the University of Florida system at Anchor Plaza Family Medicine and Pediatrics.

The OakLeaf Plantation Pediatric and Family Medicine Center is anticipated to open in April of 2008.
